Question: Getting Over Feeling Sorry for Being Left Out

Sometimes when I look at things in my life I see that sometimes I do things purely for enjoyment - material conditioning. When I see friends who are not God conscious and are freely enjoying themselves (however temporary that is) I sometimes feel left out. I feel like I'm missing out on something. I know it's so silly, but it gets me down sometimes. How can I avoid or reduce these feelings of loss and of missing out? Your wisdom is appreciated.

Warm regards,

C.S.

Answer: Feel Sorry that They are Left Out

The only way to overcome the feelings of being left out is to dive deeper into the ocean of Krishna bhakti so that instead of feeling sorry that you are left out, you will feel sorry that they are left out.
